WaitWat Coerced me into paying with a 'gift card' from Amazon - no tracking number with order Austin Texas

I originally checked out reports on WaitWat before ordering and all seemed to be on the up and up. Since placing my order on Feb 1, 2014, I began noticing disturbing bad reviews on the following weeks. The web site originally processed the order as one would expect, I received an order number and my own 'member page'. However, I received no order confirmation or tracking number, just an e-mail on the 3rd of Feb. saying that my order shipped and would take up to 7 working days to arrive. I was unable to contact anyone at WaitWat (no phone number given) and no replies were received from my repeated e-mails. Their MO was to use Amazon gift cards as the form of payment. I contacted Amazon to see the status of the gift card redemption and was told that a 'James Brown' was in the process of redeeming the gift card (the only names I had dealt with via e-mail were Sherry I. Bullock (sales) and Johnny Geolas (manager)). I attempted to have Amazon put a hold on the card but was unsuccessful. My money was gone and, needless to say, I have received no order from them. This is a definately a SCAM site.

Unfortunately, they seem to have shut down and 'left town' since you cannot pull up the webpage anymore and there have been no replies to my [repeated] e-mails. I have screen shots of all of my dealings with them and can provide to anyone who is interested in persuing them criminally. They evidently set up as a quick grab scam using an old IP address. I expect them to re-appear as another domain name somewhere in cyberspace. Note to all: as the saying goes, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". Stick to the known sites with verifiable reputations (Amazon, eBay, Google,  etc...) for all orders on the internet.

I was totaly scamed by them also. Everything that other people have written about Waitwat.com being a scam is true. I'm currenty in the process of trying to get my money back from Amazon.com, but we'll see how this goes since they been giving me the run around for a month now. But I can't walk away from $849.29.
