Complaint Review: Wal-Mart

You know I've worked for many retail companies and I also worked for the infamous TCTalent, and I've had my share of employee abuse. Wal-Mart, on the other hand, puts associate abuse to a new low.

Elaboration? Ok, I was what is called store level lower management, and I was paid eight dollars an hour to do assistant manager level work. The work load was'nt that rough, but the bosses took the cake. How would you like to work for this corporate giant( monopoly ) and be screamed at, phisically threatened, and brainwashed all in one day?

I've had phisical threats from assistant managers and my store manager that was highly unexceptable. I was being told to do numerous jobs by each manager, then when I did them I got screamed at by a different manager. I was told illegally to reduce the price of chewing tobacco for a customer, nobody had any idea what they were doing there was no cooperation in that whole store. This was the first place I had worked at where employees were threatening to kill each other and getting into fist fights.

I was told I was responsible for half the store and if I dare made a mistake I would be taken into a room where I would be yelled at by two managers for my error. Not only that, but the benifits, pay raises, and hours were horrible. Good benifits would cost me 120 dollars a week. No one could afford them, and this company makes billions a year. That's because they screw everyone they hire. As a consumer, I say rape Wal-Mart for every penny you can! The consumer can get anything they want at this store, so take it, and while your walking around, take notice of how these associates are being treated. It's a sick, sad work place and deserves what it gives to asscoiates, abuse.
