Complaint Review: Wal-mart

My brother in law locked his sim card up yesterday and i went up to walmart connection center in scottsburg to purchase a sim card. I have purchased a sim card there before actually twice before, once being this past february and once last year or maybe year and a half ago. anyway, they told me that they have NEVER sold sim cards by themselves if a person has not purchased a phone there. i told them, i have never bought my phones from walmart and i always buy any of the accessories i need there. just becaue i didn't buy my phone from them doesn't mean that they can't sell me something for my phone.

it's almost like needing a charger for your phone. even though you didn't buy it there you can still buy the things you need for it there. are they going to deny you a sell of a charger since you didn't get the phone there? no, they aren't.

now i have to drive 30 miles out of my way to get him a new sim card. so on top of paying for a new sim card i also have to pay for gas to drive out of town to get the stupid thing. well, he's paying for it but it's almost like it's an extra $25 out of our pockets to get it. I just don't see why they can't sell it, they have done it before why is it different now. it just doesn't make sense to me. i've made a complaint to walmart head office, and i also complained to the csm and plan on calling and talking to the store manager tomorrow. it wouldn't be so bad if there were another place close by to get it.....the walmart is like 2 miles from my house the cingular store is around 30 just a waste of time
