policy regarding items incorrectly priced

If a item is priced incorrectly Wal-Mart MUST give it to you for the correct price ONLY if the whole inventory is stocked above the wrong sticker price. NOT if one single item is in the incorrect place. A good way to avoid this is to check the barcode against the price stickers barcode to make sure you have the correct item. AGAIN: only if ALL the inventory is incorrectly price do they have to honor that price.

example: 1:
Situation: a faded glory shirt has been randomly hung on a $5 clearance rack.
Policy: You must pay the correct price, since it was NOT a stocking or sticker error

example 2:
Situation: ALL the 15 gallon storage tubs are stocked above a tag for $4.99 and they ring up $8.99
Policy: They must honor the price of $4.99 since the entire inventory was stocked incorrectly.

example 3: happened to me
Situation: Hannah Montana lip gloss/makeup kits are hanging on a strip marked for $2.88 and ring up $4.98
Policy: They must honor the $2.88 since the price sticker was wrong.

Again the UPC code on the item is ALWAYS on the price sticker posted on the shelf. Make sure to check it the next time. Hope this clears stuff up.

Also you may have been grabbing the wrong product. Sometimes store brand porducts are right next to name brand and prices are very different.

About 3 months ago you wrote another report about Wal-Mart.

Yet you are still going there getting overcharged on "every very first item", what ever that is supposed to mean?

You obviously have some other issues you need to deal with in your life, and I would suggest that you no longer go to Wal-Mart to do your shopping to make things easier on you.

If we overcharged on every single item, as stated in your report, we would have been shut down by now. Yes, we make mistakes, and yes some folks don't always do their jobs in a timely manor, but the cashier has the authority to make sure you get your products at the shelf sticker price.

It doesn't hurt to make sure you're being charged correctly, no matter where you shop.

I certainly don't think we are any threat to America. As a matter of fact, we work hard to make sure your dollar buys as much as possible.
