Wal-mart - Jumbodeals advertising a free 500.00 shopping card when you really wind up spending about 1000.00 trying to get the "free" shopping card, and when you try to unsubscribe from them they either say you are already unsubscribed and come at you under a different name or theey wont allow to click onto the unsubscribe button ripoff Internet
I am sick of wal-mart coming on my hotmail advertising a "free" shopping card when in fact, you wind up spending close to $1000.00 to get this "free" card.
It has also been very time consuming also I have had to go back and cancel all of these things I bought for a dollar, because they were actually only the begining of monthly subscriptions. They have cost me to waste my time and money for a hoax.

You can't get something for nothing, nothing is free, and if it sounds to good to be true, it is. Why would Walmart just be giving out $500 gift cards for free to anyone and everyone? C'mon, you have to be kidding. Like the other poster said, Walmart is not e-mailing you, a marketing company or spammer is e-mailing you. I would recommend using Gmail or somthing similar, which has true spam protection.

Those emails you're getting aren't from Wal-Mart. They're from spammers that advertise gift cards and free samples of famous name items in an attempt to scam you out of money. If you get emails promising gift cards or samples or vacations, mark them as junk. The large amounts of spam that gets through Hotmail's filters is one of the primary reasons I don't use Hotmail as my primary email address anymore. Try using a service like Juno - http://webmail.juno.com - and use a username with several names and numbers such as some_email_12345678 to help prevent some of the large amounts of spam that are everywhere. Also, keep an eye on credit card statements and bank statements. If you fell for one of these scams in a spam email, you might end up falling victim to identity theft from phishing.
