Hello, This year just like the past I had my tax refund sent to a walmart money card. The first day they were deposited I spent around $1700 paying bills and catching things up. Later that night I tried to go to walmart to buy food and my card was declined several times. I went to customer service and they checked the balance for me and it shows $1003, after trying several things (cash withdraw, money transfer, new card) I was instructed to call the number on the back of the card. After dealing with these people for three days now, and after sending them a fax with my drivers license and social security card I still have no idea why they are holding the rest of my money from me. every call is a waste of time because they wont give you any info, Its just sit and wait for us to call you back, problem is they never do. Today i was reading on here and seen that im not the only one who is having issues. This money was my last lifeline and chance to get out of this hole. In the past 6 months I have lost my home and my car due to financial troubles, this money is all I have left. Im wracking up late fee's and past due charges now because of this and at this rate I wont have enough to pay it all once they release my finds back to me. This seems like a complete screw up and noone claims responsability. Meanwhile im sitting here with no hope and no clue of what to do next. Not that they will mis my business but I will be writing every single website and person I cant think of over the next few days until this is resolved. Im starting with a complaint to the BBB. everyone including companies make mistakes and have troubled times, Its how we handle those times that really let us know what type of person or character your dealing with. This simple mistake could very well cost me the rest of what I still have. And for this I cant even get an explination of why or how.
