I bought a bycycle for my grandaughter. When I got it home the handlebars were loose, so I tightened them up. When she got on to ride, they were loose again. They would not stay tight. So I took the bike back to Wal-Mart. They would not exchange it. I was told that it was sold "as is". There was nothing on the price tag, on the bike, or on the receipt that said "as is".

When I talked to the manager I was told that I should have known that it was sold "as is".

I know Wallmart has it's ups and downs, but this story is just plain false. There is no such thing as 'sold as-is' at Wallmart. You can return or exchange anything you want there without a hassle.

There has to be another reason, your attitude at the time of return, the customer service rep's family problems, something had to play into this. Just take it to another Wallmart.
