Wal-Mart stores are running a Workmen's Compensation scam against their customers. I took my car into the store for an oil change and a week later I got a letter stating that the brakes had failed, an associate was injured and there was a lien against me for payments Wal-Mart makes for said injury. It the brakes had failed, why would Wal-Mart send me out on the highway with a car that had mal-functioned in their shop?

If you or yoour insurance company defend against this claim you may get a telephone call telling you that the lien has been cancelled because the associate thought the brakes had failed.

In my opinion this is as much attempted fraud as a shoplifter attempting conversion of property.
