wal mart the most dishonest thing wal-mart has ever done Leesville, Louisiana
on Friday February 11, 2011 I put money on my walmart money card, so I could pay for an Avon order. I got home twenty minutes later, logged on and tried to make my payment. It would not work. My husband suggested I check the balance at a local ATM up the street from our house, so I did. Long story, short version, the fees for this card are so outrageous that I started with 59 dollars on the card and there's a charge every time I try to make a transaction. Even though I wasn't able to make the transaction I still got charged for it. In less than 24 hours there is now 6.44 remaining on the card! I haven't spent anything, I haven't made a transaction, but there's a charge every time I try! That fee varies and even though the transaction amount hasn't changed, the fee they charge has! I haven't been able to make the transaction! Again, card fees swindled me out of more than fifty dollars. If Avon hadn't been willing to work with me, Walmart's little scam would have effectively shut down my only income.

Why not use a checking account with a debit card? That way you can deposit your paycheck and gain access to the funds in one transaction at a lower cost.
