Walcott Rodney Craigslist Employment Scam 22 Nettleton Road, London, SE14 5UJ, United Kingdom
This scammer posted an employment ad for a bodyguard on craigslist. The company he claimed to represent is legitament. However, being a former police officer some things didn't add up. First, he sent his email at 1:44PM pacific time which would make it 9:44PM london time. Second, he sent the email from a gmail account. Most major companies have their own email domains. And finally, the letter he sent didn't read properly and appeared to be fill-in the blank format (see below). I decided to google the referrence number this scammer used and up popped a bunch of other scams he has used with the same exact format, just for different industries. This is a lesson of being aware of who you are dealing with on Craigslist.

Apparently this scammer is aware that his information has been posted, because I received a similar email regarding a position for a tutor, but the name is different. Everything else is the same. I think it's important to note that the email is a format letter, but the name might be updating periodically. Here is the email I received:
