Walcott Rodney - Tries To Get You Information ebay fraud, possible identity theft Internet Texas
This guy bought a van from me on ebay for 800, never paid and claimed he needed all sorts of info in order to get it taken care of. His member account said he was based in Texas, the email I received he stated NY, and he was planning on shipping the item to the UK. The emails are very non-descriptive so it appears he has done this to others, his ebay account is/was covcoer010. Below are the emails:

This is to notify you that I made a mistake by cancelling my account with eBay when I was trying to change my account from personal account to a business account. So, I did cancel my account but I have contacted eBay on the issue and they have promised to reactive it as soon as possible.
EBay told me that have sent you a mail out to you regarding the mix-up with my account that I am no more a register member.
I want you to disregard the mail that eBay sent to you about the mistake in cancelling my account because it will be active soon.
So, I am still interested in the item I bought from you earlier from eBay.
Please reply.
Thank you for you understanding.

Thank you for the information's.
The payment has been sent out to you, which includes the cost for the item and the shipping. Once you receive the payment, deduct the cost for the item and send the balance to the shipper through Western Union Money Transfer to United Kingdom because the item will be shipped to United Kingdom .
Note that I have a shipper who will take care of the shipping by coming to pick up the item from you.
Please reply this mail to let me know you understand the process.
Best regard
Rodney
This person is trying to get user information most likely for identity theft. I have seen similar posts on this site so figured I would add to it. Also this user never called me despite repeated request.

Walcott Rodwey will give you a forged cheque over the amount of the item and ask you to forward the rest western union to shipper, cancel item and you are left with the amount of cheque taken back by bank as cheque is a forged and not real.
