Walden University Bursur's office - never posted transferred classes for credit, had to retake classes and denied refund Baltimore Maryland

I received an MBA from University of Phoenix and when I tried to transfer my credits to my Walden University degree program, I was informed several classes would be transferred in and I would not have to take them.

Well, the classes were not trransferred, therefore I had to retake them and Walden refused to issue me a credit for the unnecessary classes.

My attempts to ask them for an update have gone ignored. ....

Hi Tammy,

I'm not sure where you had mailed it, but this is the first time advising is seeing the tuition waiver form.  It will be forwarded to the bursar's office who makes all final decisions on tuition appeals.  Thank you.

This is my third attempt to get an answer on this situation, or at least an acknowledgement that it is being looked in to.

My first attempt was 2/23, 3/4, Certified Mail and again today.

Is the department intentionally ignoring me????

Subject: Tuition Waiver - Two Classes

Hello,

This is a request for two tuition waivers, for two classes I was not supposed to take, but did take and passed.
As it turns out, I was supposed to not take two classes and was scheduled and did pass both classes.

I am attaching two tuition waiver forms (one for each class) and the documentation from Walden that I was not needing to take those two classes. Classes 6510 and 6570. Someone there schedules me for classes, therefore, I assumed they were setting  me up for the correct classes and simply attended and finished both classes.

Thank you.

Tammy W
