Walgreens just pissed me off, their prices listed online do not match store prices. It was hard enough to navigate through all the pages which shouted 10 cents per photo online etc etc ... I don't want all this bullshit nonsense I just want a clear way to see how much photos cost in store. I saw that it was 19 cents per photo in store for under 100 photos and then I find out its like 29 cents for photos under 50  I turn my disposable camera in only to realize I should have just waited an gone to costco  and the lady said it was already scanned in a minute later and it was too late to get my camera back. WHAT GIVES WALGREENS THE BALLS TO CHARGE ALMOST TWICE A REASONABLE PRICE . Not only am I never going there to print photos again, but I won't even give them the business of anything else

Not a Rip-Off

I have to back up the other poster in this case.

I would like to mention that the online photo, and also the website is pretty much a different store than the local stores.

The object is to get the customer into the store to pick up their orders from the photo side. We often do this through coupons that are online-ONLY and through email adverts. Typically, it's easier for you, the customer to sit at home and upload your pictures than it is for you to drive to the store, use the kiosks and then wander around while your order completes.

Because Online has maybe a handful of people working to make sure the servers are functioning, than the stores employees having to assist you.

instore $.29 for 4x6 prints 1-49 and $.19 50-infinity

35mm developing 24exposures 10.99 for 1-set of prints. This covers the cost of processing the film and scanning it, printing it, the cost of the labels, stickers etc. Honestly, this day and age, Walgreens is one of the FEW stores that still offer 1hour film processing.

3 Different Photo Processes.

It seems that you have 3 different services confused.

1)Walgreens can receive and print orders online through Wphoto.com .  Some offers are online only, and will state as such on the advertisement.

2)If you would prefer to bring your digital pictures into the store for processing, Walgreens can also process those on the kiosks available at the photo counter.  There are also specials that run on in-store orders, you can check the weekly ad, or inquire at the photo counter.

3)Most Walgreens also process film.  Film processing is a completely separate process from digital pictures, and rarely are offers on digital prints extended to film processing.

If you have questions about the pricing, feel free to ask at the photo counter, or even just give them a phone call to save yourself the trip.

Hope this was helpful.
