I went down to your dealership today to return a 2003 Ford Mustang. I loved the car, but the gas mileage was not what I expected. I traded in a 2001 Ford Ranger. The mustang has a 3.8L V6, while the ranger has a 2.5L V4. The gas mileage ratings on these vehicles is nearly identical. I looked this up before even test driving the mustang. I don't like surprises and I tend to do my homework. I came to your dealership with pre-approved financing and ready to purchase a vehicle to replace my truck. I expected the mustang to have the same if not better gas mileage than the ranger. I drive about 66 miles to work and back home in one day. I work 5 days a week. In the ranger, that would have consumed about 1/4 of a tank. In the mustang, that consumed half of the tank. I spoke with Alyssa and she was nothing but nice and friendly to us. She brought a supervisor over who wanted to ask us about why we were returning the car. I believe his name is Terry R. (I'm not sure about his last name). Anyways, he flat out told us that it was a BULLSH*T reason (using that exact phrase) for returning the car and then brought up the point that we maybe returned the car due to the price or the cost of the payment. Let me give you some facts about my so called financial history. I don't have any late payments over the last 7 years. Go ahead and check the credit report your guys pulled to do the financing and see if cost would have been an issue. The payments for the mustang were $205.88 a month. I'll probably make about $36k this year or close to $40k. This car was definately affordable. If I had done what your supervisor had done in my line of work, that would be instant termination. I spend about $140 - $160 a month in gasoline alone. I estimate based on the gas milage I saw I would spend 2 to 3 times that amount if I kept this vehicle. I definately consider that a valid reason and even if it wasn't, your return says 100% satisfaction guaranteed, but I was treated as a liar and rudely for returning this vehicle.  For him to question my reasons for returning the car and to insinuate that I COULDN'T AFFORD THE CAR was more than insulting. It's a $9k car, how many people do you know that honestly couldn't afford a vehicle at this price with a $205.88 monthly payment. He was very rude and very aggressive. Alyssa continued to try and make up for everything. She's a great employee. Maybe he had a bad day, but this is your management!!! I honestly can't say if I will ever return to your dealership again. I was happy with the salesperson Alyssa and still am. I was not at all happy with this supervisor Terry. I felt bad enough about returning the vehicle. This is one of the very few things that I have ever returned in my life after purchasing. Your supervisor not only made me feel worse about it but upset me to no end.

Avoid this dealership. I still can't express how upset I am, but two days later and no response from their management about my e-mail. So I figured you guys would like to see this and let everyone else know how this dealership treats potential customers.

I can sense the frustration of this former customer of Wally Armour. But I have to comment on this, mainly because I feel that Wally Armour is a very fair and honest company. I have never dealt with a dealership that was more honest or fair in their pricing! They show you ALL OF THE NUMBERS! AND GIVE YOU THEIR PRICE UP FRONT! There is no "ripoff" involved in what happened here! How many dealerships actually allow you to bring the vehicle back? I have never heard of that anywhere else. They actually encourage you to compare their prices to other dealerships. Maybe that manager was out of line, but I bought a car there and I think customers are anything but ripped off. I think you should he thankful they let you return it!
