Walmartwalmart Store#1064 the transmission in my pickup was ruined because walmart never checked the oil in like i paid them to do LENOIR, North Carolina .....

For several years now ive had my truck serviced at walmart.i got the most expensive service because it coverd everything that a service should, includeing checking the oil in the trans mission. about six months ago the trasmision started to make a whining noise. a couple weeks ago i went to the beach whitch was 250 miles it started to make a loud grinding noise on the way home.when i got home i checked the oil level it was allmost completely dry of oil.i added oil and called walmart.

They said to bring it up sp they could check it. when the service man went to check the oil level he didnt even have a wrench to fit the oil plug.he told me himself he had tried to get the managers to get the tools to fit these plugs, and they refused. so he rigged up something to get the plug out.he checked the oil level and it was full then since i had added oil to prevent further dammage.

he was then instructed to ride with me to check the dammage .when we came back he told the manager that the transmision was bad.they tolme they would turn it in on thier insurance.thier insurance company called me and said they would not honor my claim because i couldnt prove it was thier fault.a rebuilt transmision is going to cost me between $2300.to $2800

It seems this person had enough knowledge to know it was his transmission making all these noise's. My assumption would be this person knew something was wrong with this part of his/her automobile before he/she went to the beach and just wanted someone to blame.
