Walmart Ammunition Sales Plano Texas
Bought 5 boxes of ammo late Saturday night Nov.8,2008. 3 Remington .308 150 grain and 2 Winchester .308 180 grain to fire in 2 weapons I purchased recently. Went out to firing range at 10AM opening and shot the Winchester ammo with both weapons. Tried the Remington in both of my weapons and my buddies M1A and the bullet failed to fire. Attempted Sunday afternoon to swap out ammo with receipt and was told the sale was final even if the product did not work. Assistant manager was nice and appeared to agree with me but said his hands were tied and the store manager was the only person who could approve the swap and probably would not do it!
Never buy ammo from Walmart...lesson learned!

All Ammo Sales Are Final!

Hopefully, you have reached an understanding regarding your failed attempt to return the ammo to the store. If by now you still do not know why this fails to qualify as a legitimate ripoff report, I'm afraid I can not help you.
Well, there is one thing I can do. Having read the report and subsequent comments, I am convinced of the truth behind the saying that all things are bigger in Texas. Realizing that big dummies seem to growing into much bigger dummies, I'm going to write a self-help novel for the intellectually challenged to help resolve such complaints as yours before they should arise. I think I'll call it, "the complete idiots guide to becoming a bigger dumba$$."
All ammo sales are final. It's not a law; at least, not one that I could find. However, if it is clearly posted at the retailer's establishment, you buy with that understanding and agreement. In your defense, I must add though, nothing you said should have explicitly implied to anyone with any real intelligence that you had attempted to re-load or re-fire any round in a second rifle. The two comments that were first posted in response to your complaint were obviously drafted by other big dummies, whose reading comprehension is as bad as their spelling.)

I know that here in Wisconsin it is a state law that all ammo sales are finnal. We can not refund or exchange any type of ammo. I agree with the other postings that you should contact the manufactur of the ammo. I am pretty sure that they would send you some sort of coupon for a new box.
Also trying to refire some misfired ammo sounds really dangerous. Be safe.

The past writing is current. This is walmart's policy and I can see why.
I have seen some people bring in different ammo is a different box after they
had shot a few.
The best bet is to go to the manufactor and let them know.

one bullet failed to fire? one out of the box?
you loaded a misfore into a second weapon and attempted to fire? is that a safty issue? sound like your an accident waiting to happen
anyways, this is not a rip-off and this should not be posted here
wal-mart clearly has signs that all ammo is final sale, for all they know you could screw around with it, return it and then is re-siold and some innocent shooter can get hurt
you should not post this jibberish to rip-off report
you should contact the manfacture, they will coupon you for additional fresh ammo for free
read the stores written policys, they in clear view at the cash register
