Complaint Review: Walmart.com Marketplace & Re-seller Easy Vision Inc

Purchased a ELM327 OBDII Automobile Scanner adapter. This is a common tool for diagnosing check engine lights on vehicles and clearing the codes. When received a 3rd party iOS app was used to connect via wifi to my phone. For security and safety purposes they scan the device to assure it is not a cheap Chinese clone, it was. The app stated "BAD ELM CLONE". I immediately removed this device from my vehicle data port and attempted a refund. The seller repeatedly tried to get me to keep the item and insisted that I send them a video of the malfunction before a refund could be offered. The last email stated they would provide a partial refund. I complained to Walmart for the second time and they provided the refund. Avoid this seller and if smart - buy from Amazon only, at least they are hassle free. AVOID Walmart.com .... their items are just cheap Chinese junk just like many items in their stores.
