Not Bad Tires

I have these same tires installed on my 1995 Corsica and find them to have been a great set of tires, I had Wal Mart install them at approximately 36K and currently have 96K on the car and the tires still have plenty of tread left and had no problems with them.  I have indicated use them on a light vehicle, I always keep them balanced and inflated to my car specification. I also do not spin my tires or any other way drive aggressively. If I still have the vehicle when these tires need replaced I will more than likely replace them with the same tire, if they are still available in my size.

I am a college (old) student who has worked in the tire/oil buisness beginning in 1996. I currently work part-time at Wal-Mart TLE. I encourage customers not to purchase Douglas tires. If you have ever bought a Chinese wrench at Wal-Mart, it claims a "lifetime warrwnty". It costs you more to send it back than the original purchase price.

If you buy tires from Wal-mart, buy the Uniroyal Long Touring or Touring Trak. If you have a four-wheel drive, buy the Uniroyal Liberator. They are the tires that I am most confident in selling. Douglas tires are a cancer upon our shop. We replace as many as we sell , returned on quality/integrity issues.

You get what you pay for, so you learned what not to buy.
