I have had nothing but problems with Walmart Family Mobile for 2 plus years. Lost payments, bad customer service. I have tried to get their corporate phone number to no avail ever. I have called Walmart customer service and finally Walmart Corporate to find out that this is NOT a Walmart Company. Walmart representatives have told me that this is a third party company. When I asked them how they can sell a service as WALMART FAMILY Mobile and how they are able to NOT make consumers aware that this is not a Walmart company I was told thier "legal team" reviews that stuff. 

THE only informaiton they can give you about this company is a phone number that is widely availabe and listed as WALMART FAMILY MOBILE.

When you call the WALMART FAMILY Mobile customer service line they tell you THAT THEY ARE a WALMART company. This is not a WALMART company. If you are buying in because of the trusted brand name you are making a bad choice. EVERY agent is an outsource agent. 

After 4 hours of calling I finally got someone from Walmart Corporate to call into family mobile on my behalf but it took 4 hours and all they did was call and say they were calling from headquarters at Walmart. WALMART makes no decisions about accounts or services for this cell plan. 

I am sure that this is somehow illegal to offer a service that claims to be WALMART FAMILY MOBILE powered by TMOBILE when in reality it is a third party vendor that has nothing to do with Walmart other then the right to use their name. I feel completely duped and do not like doing business with a company that does not know who they work for and cannot provide me with corporate information. 

I spoke to a supervisor at Walmart corporate Walter badge #2630 that told me he found a number on Google through "Get Human" for a customer service number for Walmart Family Mobile. He also told me in no uncertain terms that he could not transfer me to the person that was responsible for the 3rd party vendor contract nor could I speak to anyone higher up in the organization that could tell me more about what company it was that was handling my cell phone service. 

When I called back to Walmart Family Mobile the representative AGAIN stated that they were in fact a WALMART company and all I had to do was go to the website to see that, she also recommended that I go to the WALMART store and have a manager call them so that they could confirm that this was WALMARTS cell service plan. 

I think that people should be informed that they are doing business with a third party and NOT WALMART. I think it is completley outrageous that I CAN NOT have the companies name that i am doing business with AND THAT Walmart takes ZERO responsibility for the actions of this company yet lends thier name to the service to give the service credibility. 

IT IS NUTS!!
