Dear Walmart, 9/20/04


I am so disappointed at how I am being treated by walmart. I have been a customer for over 10 years. I have spent endless amounts of money in walmart. When my husband was stationed in VA through the us navy I found walmart since where I was from in the northeast there was none. I lived at walmart it was such a great store. then when we moved back to the northeast it finally moved its way up here.
Then when it moved here where I live I was so excited. now all the disappointment has set in. on July 28th of this year walmart oil lube and filter did not put my filter on correctly. My car left Walmart after the oil change and i was in traffic for 20 minutes and my car began smoking,overheating, and my oil light flashed on and off rapidlly. I was towed back to Walmart by AAA. The tow driver checked my oil the dipstick showed absolutely no oil. Walmart admitted fault to the problem and said they would fix my car if iI had any problems with me car. My oil continued to go periodically and i brought it back to the Dodge Dealership to work on it.

My car has suffered from this. I have spent endless hours on hold waiting paying out my own money my own
time on this problem. claims doesn't return calls help you out and they are obnoxious. it wasn't my fault my car was poorly taken care of at walmart in Waterbury CT. My car is our family car I do errand and bring my kids to and from school everyday. As I think and go over in my head how much money I have spent in walmart over the past 10 years I figure its well over $40,000 is it to much to ask to have my bills to be paid After the fault of walmart. My questions go un- aswerwered I will never understand how you post in your ads customer satisfaction. I am not. once beloved and loyal customer,

i have called everyone...corporate dont care they have to know because i have called everywhere...the district manager knows... the area district manager in charge of oil lube and filter knows ans still not 1 returns my calls...

But I already did that I have 800 numbers and not one person at walmart will help not corporate not managers no one. The Manager in charge of oil lube and filter for this district doesnt even return my calls. The Head Manager of that store called me once and doesn't return my calls either.

Here is what you need to do.

Go to the store at the return desk. There will be a picture and name of the store manager. Insist on seeing that person, no one else.
Advise the manager that you are going to be forced to contact Walmart corporate in AR if you don't receive satisfaction right now.
More than likely you will get it. No Walmart store manager wants corporate snooping around because of a complaint and the manager will give you whatever you want to stop it.
