DO NOT let your kids play in this league.  They have equipment that does not meet the sports standards for testing of equipment (NOCSAE).  Also they do not clean the equipment at the end or beginning of each season.  This is supposed to be a NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION.  But if you look under any list on non profits in Texas War-Cat is not list nor is anything in Rita or Freddies name.  This is a scam they bring in teams and make up the rules as they go.  If they think your team is good and may beat their team they will find a way to remove you from the league.  They have fund raiser for "new equipment" and in all reality it goes towards their trip to Vegas.  Then they had some POS trailer given to them and they had it brought in and put on county propert and said that they owned those fields.  Well they dont own anything.  Look at the cars they drive.  They call all the other leagues in town liars and theives, like Todd Wetzel, Lance Pusley, and the guy who runs the league in CC.  These people are good for nothing and have only their best intrest at hand here. They use this league to supplement their income.  Also the concession stand that they have is not legal, nobody has a food handlers permit and it is food and stuff stored at their personal residence over time. Freddie will lead you to beleive he has all this power but if thats the case why isnt he with NCYFL or CCYFL cause thay all ran him off.  Take a good look at the helment your kid is wearing and check for the stickers that say they have been tested and passed by the NOCSAE.  All helments should be tested/reconditioned at least every 3 years.  And when that is done it will be given a new sticker on the bottom right of the helment.  Parents if you care for your kids do not let them play in this league.  I will be posting this in all the local papers that have teams in this league to make them aware of the saftey issues at hand.  You have other choices for your kids that have new and updated equipment along with insurance.

I met freddie and agree with you completely. He was bragging to how he made nearly 200k a year tax free money running war cats youth football. Any child that was hurt or injuried should find freddie , who is in Las Vegas, and take legal action.
