This letter is in regards to Warranty America not paying for serviced recommended to fix my transmission. (5695 Yukon st. Arvada, Co 80002 1.866.226.8319) My car was taken to AAA Transmission Technology (278 Stones River Rd. Lavergne, Tn 37088 615.895.3939) the car was looked and determined to need a new transmission. The Repair guy called the Warranty Company and they authorized him to find the problem and fix it. He did find the problem. They sent an inspector out and determined that they would only pay for the torque convertor even though it needed a new transmission. The repair guy had me sign the paper stating he was not responsible for the transmission because they did not pay for it to be fixed. They said it doesn't need fixed however the repair guy disagrees. I have the paper work where the repair guy wrote down all the necessary repairs and yet they ignored them.. Now the transmission is slipping terribly.

Warranty America did NOT lie.....

So, let me see if I understand - the guy at the repair shop, who has motivation to replace your entire transmission when you only need a torque converter because he makes more money told you that you HAVE to have a new transmission, so somehow Warranty America "lied"......?? I'm not really following that.

I'm the CFO of this company and let me tell you - we have ASE Certified Techs on staff with many years of experience in the field, and one ASE Certified Master Technician. If they say based on their expertise that you only need a torque converter, then neither you nor I are qualified to say otherwise. For you to post this is entirely misleading and inappropriate.

That being said, we ARE the type of company to take care of any problems, so if that's true and your transmission is "slipping", then by all means call in and my people will work with the shop to find the problem and we will determine if we have coverage under the contract terms. If it's something related to the previous repair, of course we will take care of it.
