This "company" has been calling and harassing us since February! The first time I caught them in a lie, I spoke to someone and made up a make, year and model of a vehicle. When I told the person we didn't own that car, I asked for the name of the company and how he got our phone number and he hung up! I immediately called our local police department to have a report started. I registered the numbers on the Do Not Call website, as well as filed a complain on there against all the numbers we had received calls from. They always call from different numbers from different cities in FL, and when I try and call the numbers back, convienently they are disconnected! They stopped for a while, but have started again!

Today I chose option one again to speak with someone and when he picked up my call, he said, "Warranty Service Center. What is the year, make and model of your car?" I asked him what company it was and he hung up! I activated the *57 feature on our phone which traces the last incoming call and called our phone service provider. They said they can not do anything. I will be calling our local police department again to let them know, but beyond that I'm lost! Can't we file complaints with the FTC or Better Business Bureau? This is obviously a scam since I live in NJ and the calls come from FL.

Please stop bothering your local police with this. It is not their job to enforce FTC regulations.

Since this problem seems to be so important to you, I'm surprised that you didn't do the 30 seconds of research (that I did) to find out that the FTC is the agency that accepts complaints for violations of the Do Not Call registry. Go to the following site and submit your complaint.
