This is a warranty purchased with a new vehicle, but not from the manufacturer. There are many exclusions like hoses, belts, tubing, etc which you would expect even though this is hyped as "bumper to bumper".

I have never had a claim against them for my vehicle.

The repair in question involved the air conditioning system. The component that failed was a switch block,(this is a block of aluminum machined to house a switch). This is sold as part of a part sold as an assembly, it contains the housing block, the switch itself, a bracket and tubing which is welded to the block, to itself, to fittings. The switch block had from the start a defect or crack which worsened over time. This was not in a weld or tubing but in the block itself.

Because Toyota has labeled this as a "tubing assembly" Warranty Solutions says it is not covered. This is just avoiding paying a valid claim.

To make things worse this company says it is only the administrator of the plan. On the contract there are 4 different company names none of which can be found on line. Another company is listed in the fine print of the rejection letter which I had to request to obtain. The last company is called WS Aftermarket Services Corporation, then these are all said to be insured by Heritage Indemnity Company of Denver, Co.

This maze of companies all lead back to Wells Fargo and I believe is just a means to prevent the average person from lodging a complaint. Just do a search for complaints for these companies, you can find none, which is almost impossible unless it is almost impossible to complain.

These practices need to be addressed by Laws to protect consumers, all contract should state the name of who or what is ultimately responsible for any claims or complaints. In this case I would assume Wells Fargo, but they will send you on a wild goose chase through all these listed and all will say they are not who to talk to. They say they will forward the information so you think they are doing something in an effort to just let you give up in frustration.

Please Help!!!

I was just made aware of this company from a recent car purchase.  Current evaluating them to see if I want to keep them. I have found many of the same things this person is talking about but here is what concerns me about the company.  Their website is https://www.warrantysolutions.com/b2b/cms/publicPages/vehicleServiceContracts.jsp but trying to research them is very difficult.  If you go to their about section they point you to BBB for a rating but when you look at the records at BBB they are using Wells Fargos complaints not the companys complaint.

This is a little worrysome because Wells Fargo will have a AA rating but this company may not.  The other thing that worrys me is their brochure does not list their website and the other companys involved are a confusing mix of service providers.  I cant say if this company is doing anything wrong at this point but putting everything under wells fargos name instead of its own account makes it really hard to see how the company is performing.  Look at how BBB is tracking them using the parent companys ratings http://denver.bbb.org/Find-Business-Reviews/name/warranty+solutions+administrative+service/Lakewood-CO/

This means you cant really find complaints filed against them easily. It seems to me the BBB has not recognized this could be a problem for the consumer.  Why put them under Wells when you cant contact Wells directly to log a complaint. These warranties are very expensive and BBB should allow more light to shine on the company doing business under its name and not mix in Wells.   At this point I dont know if I will keep the insurance still researching but I am very concerned and plan to contact them directly via their brochures 800 number which is different than whats on the website.

I have 866 434 4357 for roadside assistance, 800 322 3933 for administration 800 247 9469 for Florida. 800 828 1392 is the website admin. Other companies noted on their brochure issued by WS Aftermarket Services Corporation, administered by Warranty Solutions Management Corporation. In Florida, Wisconsin, and Arizona issued and administered by Warranty Solutions Administrative Inc. Also issued by Heritage Mechanical Breakdown Corporation in Florida.  All contracts issued by Heritage Indemnity Company CA C of A #08549 PO Box 140057 Denver Co.  This configuration is the most confusing I have ever encountered so I can see why the original complaint was filed.
