The customer service represntative from Warranty USA told me that they needed my credit card number to put a "hold" on my account so that they could send me more information regarding the extended warranty. Service representative Gregory Cook told me that Warranty USA would not charge me until I accepted the policy. Not only was I charged a down payment of $281.71 but they charged the first month's installment of $76.70 after I had already declined the policy.

After I discovered that Warranty USA had charged me the down payment, I was told by a service rep. that I would receive a full refund. The next month I found that they had charged me the first month's payment and I was told that since I had taken so long to decline the policy that they had assumed that I was going to accept and had started taking payments from my credit card. I declined the policy within a week after receiving the information from them so I had not taken a long time.

I called Warranty USA several dozen times regarding my money and spoke to several different customer service representatives as well as Christina Lucas. I was lied to on several occasions by many different employees and was told on many occasions that I would receive a full refund and that the holdup was in the accounting department.

I don't care what the laws are regarding bankruptcy, all employees of this company knowingly engaged in ripping off consumers and should be held responsible for repaying the debts owed to consumers. These people should not be able to get out of their large debts with nothing more than a slap on the wrist when all of their employees, including management, earned a living by screwing people over. Warranty USA owes me a total of $361.41. I NEED that money back.

So much for having faith in the human species and being able to trust what people tell you.
