The mailing looked General Motors official. The Warranty USA phone representative made statements that linked them officially with a GM sanctioned business. They encouraged me to check their business rating through the BBB which was good. All seemed like a solid company until this week when I needed some repair on my wife's 1998 Olds Silhouette and couldn't reach Warranty USA on the phone. It took all of two minutes to realize we were scammed!

My call to the Michigan Attorney General's Office was almost comical as the representative had heard my story hundreds of times. She stated that there is really nothing to do but to file a report and perhaps there is enough support for the Nevada State Attorney General's Office to do something. It seems odd that there wouldn't be enough damning evidence by now to go after these jerks who falsely represent their company.

The bottom line, we got scammed BIG TIME!!! I will never go outside the Original Equipment Manufacturer's warranty offering again. It was an $1100 mistake I'll never make twice!!!
