Complaint Review: warranty usa

Warranty USA & Warranty are refusing to issue a refund which was promised within 30 days:

I was misled into purchasing the warranty service at a cost of $1369.00. I was told that all Cadillac dealers accepted your service. Upon finding out Sewell Cadillac in Dallas, did not accept your service, I immediately called to cancel.

I cancelled September 5, 2001 and was told by Loni(who refused to give her last name) that I would receive a refund within four weeks. Four weeks later, I called Loni again and she told me that the refund did not go through due to a computer error and she would make a special request which would take another two weeks.

Two weeks later I called and found out that Loni is no longer employed. I talk to someone named Wanda (who also refused to give her last name)who put me in touch with a supervisor name Audrey Fantroy. I talk to Audrey (ext.5472) and she told me she would handle the situation.

I made numerous calls to Audrey over the next few weeks and none of my calls were returned. I called Christina Lucas(ext 5484) and left a voicemail message and I received no call. I have also called the so-called legal department at 800-495-5315 and left numerous messages and no one has returned my calls.

I have talk to Netyro who was very rude and said their is nothing he can do about my refund. It is now going on eight months-and I have experienced nothing but delay, deception and inattention to this matter. Wanda, Audrey, and Netyro promised to fax letters to acknowledge that the refund would be coming. I have received nothing.

Clearly there is deception, mismanagement and misleadin going on by this company with its customers. Regardless of the status of the company, receivership or not, I want my claim acknowledge and I want a refund. It's funny how quickly you can swipe someone credit card and cheat them, and go to bed with a clear mind.
