First, they sold me a Range Rover Sport that fail Virginia inspection that they lied to me and said it passed when they have inspected. Next, the car need new back tires and two new front brake pads that failed the Virginia and they give me the run around for 2 weeks before they finally fixed my tires but told me that they will not be able to fix my brake pads because I brought the car as is. Now I went to the company to retrieve my second car key that I had a verbal contract with the sale manager that my second key will be available when I pick up my tags and plate, now there telling that I will not get a second key because they brought the car without two because, but when asked for the paper work that shows me that they brought this car with only one key they said they can't find the paperwork all of a sudden. Overall worse auto dealers I have ever dealt with.

So you call it luck

You call it luck to get screwed around from a company, no sir it's not. The reason why the car sold for $38,000 was because I put more work into it obviously before I resold it. If you had trouble with a car that you purchase brand new then you must be very young to not know what to check for on a BRAND new vehicle. This range rover was inspected by two state and failed both inspections so obviously I told the company about the tires and after they tried to give me the run around they finally fixed the tires. You don't know me and you certainly don't know all the hell I've been through with this company so for you to say I'm luck is truly and understatement.

So we have a used vehicle that came with two bad tires, two bad brake pads and only one key.

Kristian if this is truly the "overall worse auto dealers" you have ever dealt with you're either very young or very lucky. Heck I've purchased brand new cars with more issues than that.

The fact that you resold the car at a $10,000 profit seem to indicate that it was, in all likeliness, in exceptionally good shape for a used vehicle. Dunno about you but if I were to drop 28K on a used vehicle I would inspect every square inch of it before I sign anything, and I would start with the tires, all four of them.

I am glad that in the end it worked well for you. We at Washington Blvd. Motors try our hardest to sell our vehicles well below market price, and from what you tell us we have achieved that goal you made $4000.00 when you traded your vehicle in.  It is unfortunate however that due to lack of communication, you thought you were going to get a second set of keys; when we really did not have second one to give you. This issue has been addressed in our staff meeting, your sales representative should have clarified to you that we did not have a second set of keys, even if had not inquired about it. We take pride in the fact that we try to be very transparent we dont hide behind fine print, that we have very large visible signs that advises customers to have everything that is promised in written form.  Due to the fact that our profit margins are very limited in comparison to our competitors, unfortunately we were not able to accommodate you with a second set of keys.  We also have a policy that customers are given the opportunity to have vehicles checked by their mechanics or their local authorized dealership prior to purchase.

Your feedback is much appreciated, and our managers have already addressed this issue with the rest of the staff at (WBM), and they have been instructed to make sure that they are very clear in communication with clients, in order not to leave room for this type of misunderstandings in the future.

In over 23 years we have sold over 15000 vehicles, and we are happy to report that we have had very few complaint. Having said that, in my opinion (ONE) complaint is too many.  Obviously there is always room for improvement, regardless of our past record.

We thank you again for your comments.

Was never offered a refund

You people are complete liars. I was NEVER offered a refund because I would of gladly taken it. First of all, it wasn't my breaks as you stated you fix, it was my back tires, which I had to prove to you that the tires failed both VA and MD inspection before you finally fix it. Next, the employee that sold me the car stated that he had both set of keys and I would get the other one once all payment was made, I made all the payments and there was no key, I ask to speak to the owner I was told he was out of country, then I asked for the number to the owner the employee stated he didn't have it. Lastly, the range rover was not $9,000 below book value, the original value of the car was 32,000 I made a offer of 28,000 and you took it, thats only a $4000 difference so get your facts together before you try to write an update on this car. But no worries, the car has been resold for $38000 and I've brought a new 2010 from a REAL car dealership. Never will do business again the this rip off company!!!

All was disclosed at the time of sale

The vehicle in Question was VA inspected, and the sticker was on the windshield at the time of sale. the customer made the purchase on an as/is basis, for $9000.00 below nada book value. the dealership based on good will helped the customer with new breaks at no cost, and a new tire at no cost. used vehicles do not come with 2 sets of keys, and customer was aware of this fact at the time of sale. WBM has large signs on the wall informing customers that they should get all in writting, and this customer was offered to take the vehicle for a pre-purchase inspection prior to the sale. This customer was also offered a full refund. due to the fact that she had gotten the vehicle well below marked price she had declined our offer.
