Washington Mutual Credit Card Co. charging finance charges every month to new purchases when it's suppose to be 0 apr Dallas Texas
I applied for a washington mutual credit card with a 0% apr on new purchases. I was told with a balance transfer there would be a finance charge until the transfer amount was paid off.I transferred 2200.00 and made purchases soon after i received my washington mutual card. My statement came and it came with $18.00 finance charge. We sent 1,000.00 that month.the following month same thing, 18.00 finance charge...so we called. Our balance was 2,523.00.We were told if we sent the whole 2,523.00 the following statement would'nt have any finance charges. So we sent it.
Well,we received another statement this month with another 18.00 finance charge. We called numerous times and spoke to people that are in the Phillipines.and all thay keep saying is you have to pay your transfer balance off first.Over 4 months we sent this company over 4,500.00 and each time was charged 18.00 finance charge. When is the 2,200.00 going to be paid off.??

2200.00X10%APR=220.00YR INT DIVIDED BY 12MOS= $18.33 NO RIPOFF
YOU ARE NOT BEING CHARGED FOR THE OTHER MONEY JUST THE 2200.00 THAT YOU TRANSFERED I KNOW THE INT RATE CAUSE I TOOK THE SAME DEAL ONLY I TRANSFERED 100.00 & MY INT IS .83MO & IT LEFT ME WITH 12K LIMIT WITH 0%
