Complaint Review: Washington Mutual Credit Card

Washington Mutual Credit Card Or WaMu, Or Washington Mutual AND Angela Gale Or Michelle Brown More than doubled my interest rate without warning after promising a reduction and at the same time, lowered my credit line from 40% LTV down to 90% or better LTV making "overlimit" possible now, and that would let them raise the interst rate another up to 24% hike along with charging overlimit fees. More than doubled my interest rate without warning after promising a reduction and at the same time, lowered my credit line from 40% LTV down to 90% or better LTV making "overlimit" possible now, and that would let them raise the interst rate another up to 24% hike along with charging overlimit fees. They did this in the span of no more than 2 months after they neglected to send a bill!

I had two back to back deaths of an immediate tragic loss to our family or else I would maybe have noticed their missed bills, they have since promised things only over the phone, nothing in writing claiming that the phone calls were "recorded and monitored"...so that to me is a legal verbal contract, but instead they insist I speak to this inhumane "machine" if she's a "real person" who not only does not wish to speak to me except for recorded and monitored calls or else says this online every two days - exact verbiage.

I am EST and I already work 3 jobs. Plus she's a "broken record" of excuses so it does NO GOOD to talk to her. Currently they (she) refuses to answer questions to back up our last recorded calls, such as 1) when is my next payment due? 2) what is my current interest rate and does it go up every day? and 3) when since you lowered my credit line and I'm now not far from "overlimit" happening will that happen?

I think I have a RIGHT to know. Please tell me what my "rights" are. I've been with this company since 12/99 and they sure have ruined my Christmas!

They also have a HORRIBLE rating with BBB (not even members). I've complained already to the FTC direct, and want to complain to anyone who will listen! I wish MSNBC would investigate them or someone that important!
