On November 17, 2003 We received a letter from Washington Mutual stating that we was behind on our house payments and that we had 15, days to pay $2587.24.

This is what the letter said:

Dear Mortgagor(s)

Your account is past due for the months of 8/01/2003-11/01/2003, in the amount of $2587.24

A review of your payment record indicates that you are chronically delinquent in making your monthly mortage payments. We must remind you that it is important to remit your payment as indicated on your monthly mortage statement. If we do not receive the total amount due within 15 days of the date of this letter, we will no longer accept partial payments.

We did not take the loan out with this company in the first place it was sold to them a year after we took out the loan, at the time I stated I did not want this company to have the morgage on my home but I could not pay the loan off in full at that time, what normal person could. This alone is not right at least that is the way I think.

We made our payment on time until a few months ago when the bottom fell out on us and we had to support not only our selves but three of our kids and their kids. Now things have gotten better and we are about to get on our feet again, it takes time sometimes more time than we would like but we are hard working people and we want to pay our debts

We called them today November 24, 2003, to make arangements to pay this amount to get our house payment's caught up. We were told that we could not make a payment because they had started foreclosing on our home already.

The 15 days are not up and they are already foreclosing. The girl could not explain to my husband why this had been done. We tried to contact the lawyer they gave us a phone number to the lawyer but could not reach him.

We have had some bad luck and our business had fallen down since 9-11 but it is now coming back and things are looking up but they seem not to want to give us a chance to keep our home which I might add is worth twice what is owed on the house.

Can any one out there help tell me what to do. How to stop this. Please please help.

8 days into the 15 days they gave us to come up with the money we was told they had sent us to forclouser. 9th day we got our papers saying we had 20 days to answer but it was from another company all together. Seems Washington Mutual sold our morgage to someone else.

This company wants our house it is almost paid for and they are doing sneakey tactics in order to do so. We hired a lawyer but he says they have a right to do what they have done.

This does not seem right to me. You give a person 15 days to come up with the money to catch up and 5, 6 days in you forclose or start, that does not seem right. We had the money to catch up but was not given the chance to do so. This is stealing from hard working people. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer, Can't we fight back and win? When are we going to stop the money hungry B's that take advantage of the little guys.

I am scared that I am going to lose my home that my grandparents gave me. It's my home. If anyone has any information aginst this company please let me know. I need all the information I can get to use aginst them.

Sorry forgot to add we had made a payment and half the month before they did this to us so we are not behind as far as they say we are. We have the cancelled check showing we paid.
