Complaint Review: Washing Mutual

Washington Mutual is conducting a ripoff of individual mortgage payers by

1. not allowing partial mortgage payments, then turning around and saying that you're late in paying when it wouldn't accept any funds other than the full amount;

2. not accepting faxed copies of insurance you've set in place per the prescribed date but instituting forced placed insurance instead, then charging late charges on your mortgage if you refuse to pay its forced placed insurance charge along with your mortgage payment;

3. refusing to grant a streamlined re-finance per the allowance in the contract.

Report all this misconduct to the Banking Commissioner/Security & Exchange Commissioner/Secretary of State in your state.
