My story with Waste Industries began when Waste Industries bought ADM.  I had service with ADM.  They always took my trash on time from the can I got from ADM.  There were no problems.  I moved to my new address in September of 2014.  I called to have my service address changed.  The lady I spoke to agreed that there was no reason for me to get another can, since I still had my ADM can.

  Waste Industries left a new can on my property anyway and charged me $35 for it.  I paid the $35 when the bill came so service would start and then I called to complain.  The lady I spoke to apologized for leaving the new can on my property and told me that I would receive a $35 refund.  I asked her if she could type that up and mail it to my address.  She did that.  Over four years have passed since then, and I am still waiting for the $35 refund.

I've told Waste Industries repeatedly over the past six months that $62 for three months is too much.  I've told them that I would not be renewing service with the current quarter is up.  I sent Waste Industries an email just yesterday reminding them of the can that should not have been left here and of the $35 refund I have not yet received. 

I told them in the email that I still have the correspondence sent to me and that if necessary, if they take the  can after service is ended, that I would use that correspondence against them in court.  The can should not have been left here but was.  I should have not have been charged for it but was.  The $35 refund I should have got is still MIA.  I would happily turn the can over to Waste Industries after the refund is issued.

Waste Industries called my phone number about an hour ago.  Waste Industries has decieded to end services at my address two weeks early.  There was no mention of any $ amount refund for the final two weeks of service at this address. 

I consider the $35 refund I never got stolen.  The $10 for the final two weeks of early ended service is very likely stolen.
