In May I sent my watch to Watch Repairs USA only to have a new clasp put on. Everything else about the watch was fine. I did not receive the watch back until September (5 months later) and now it does not work!  The repair cost $500.00. There are now two problems with the watch.  It keeps erratic time.  Sometimes it is ok for several hours and then will quickly be off by many hours. The second probelem is that the hands were not set properly in repair. The minute hand is set 30 minutes off to the hour hand. In other words, if the hour hand is exactly on the hour the minute hand is on the 6.  If the hour hand is between the hour the minute hand will be on the 12.

My attempts to have Adam Carpentieri and Watch Repairs USA correct the issue have been futile. The response has been the same generic template that he sent to me each time I sent an email explaining the problem.  He said that the watch worked when it left repair, but "feel free to return the watch for additional work at additional cost." Even explaining to him that they set the hands wrong, did not convince him that there was an issue with the repairs they performed.  To this day, I have a watch that does not work and am out $500.00.
