I contracted with Watch Repairs USA back in August 2018 to completely restore my wristwatch and replace the watchband with a new stainless steel watch band.  After I sent them my watch, they sent me an e-mail saying they would sent me an estimate once they confirmed they could get parst since the watch is nearly 50 years old.

In a few days, a got a detailed estimate with an estimated repair time of 3-5 months.  I agreed and they charged me credit card.  It has now been 5 months.  I've tried to contact them by e-mail (both via a form on their web site and by using the e-mail address for CustormerCare used with the repair estimate they sent me).

I also tried to contact their Customer Care using the phone number on their web site.  The first time I got a recording to leave a message.  I did so and asked for a status report and a update on when they would send me my reconditioned and working watch.  They did not respond to the e-mails or phone message.  I tried tried the phone number again and got a message that the phone number was no longer in use.

I filed a complaint with the New York Better Business Bureau.  They recently closed the case because they have not gotten response to the two letters they sent the company.  The company has an F rating on the BBB web site.

I also filed a complaint with the Nassau County, NY Regional Office of the New York Attorney General's Office.  I have not yet heard back from them.  They can't take legal action, but they can investigate and contact the company.

I strongly recommend that everyone should avoid this company.
