Perhaps it was somewhat naive to order a watch from a firm called Watch-replica, but I did so, paid over my $248 USD which included $29.99 for postage to the UK and waited for the statutory 14-20 days. The package did not turn up and at this point neither did any answers to my numerous emails.

Whilst I appreciate that goods might be lost in the post it was not unreasonable thatI expected Watch-replica.net to give me some comfort when I asked if I should begin panicking, whether they would refund my money if the package was inexorably lost or if they had insured the package or would be sending me a replica-replica.

I was also curious, not unreasonably, as to whether they would refund my full money and when but they went completely silent - and to date I have had no response to these enquiries. My bank, whose card I used, have refunded my $248 so I am not out of pocket - but not everyone who uses this firm will have a policy guarding their credit card.

Now the might of MBNA's legal department will presumably be breathing down the neck of Replica-Watches and I hope they get redress. As for me. I would still like a watch but think I might just pay the full price for an original. Caveat Emptor rules!
