On March 15, 2011 I sent my Chopard Pocket Watch to Watchbrokers.com using the prepaid shipping label they sent me. It was to be sold on their website after their inspection and my signing of a contract stating that I would pay them a commission out of the sales price once the watch had sold.

The first person I spoke to regarding this watch was a gentleman by the name of Wayne Williams. Once I sent the watch in and signed the contract I was given Ty Gardner as my sales rep. Speaking with him a time or two over the next couple of months I decided to lower the price. I tried repeatedly to make contact and could never get them to return e-mails or phone calls.

On October 19, 2011 I called the main number, got the answering machine and went to the option of trying to sell another watch. Bingo, I got a live person to answer the phone. This time I spoke with Matt Mason. He informed me that Wayne Williams and Ty Gardner were no longer employeed there and that is why I had not received any response from them. He also told me that my timepiece had sold on October 10. He transferred my call to Eric Toso.

At that point Eric Toso told me that I would have a check in the mail for $828.00 in 6 weeks...I'm still waiting.

Do not do business with these thieves!!!
