Be sure to check your invoices very carefully. They are very cryptic and only list the procedure number - unless you know what a 11100 and 11xxx and 5 other procedure numbers are, good luck trying to figure it out. I spent over an hour on the phone getting mine sorted out only to discover they (human error) over billed both my insurance company and me.
To be fair, the doctors and nurses are great, but they use a third party billing service whom they blame the problems on and the third party billing service uses another company to create, print and mail the invoices. I sure hope they have everything covered under HIPAA !!!!!
Will I do business with them again, maybe, but only for items that are not covered by insurance so there is no question of what the costs are and I don't have to deal with the billing organizations.
They really should get their billing act together.
By the Way, I still don't know how much I owe as they have to mail a refund to my insurance company and recalculate my portion.
If we werent' talking real dollars here, this could be a great Three Stooges episode.
