Complaint Review: Waterbury Florist Today

 I ordered a certain flower arrangement for the birthday of a friend.  This is the first time I dealt with this florist.  I thought they were located in Waterbury, CT.  Come to find out they're actually in Florida.  I complained about the "design" of the flowers, not the flowers themselves.  I understand they may change flowers depending on their stock at the moment.  I ordered the "design" as much as I ordered for the flowers.  I had the recipient take a picture, because I was interested in seeing what was sent.  Not even close to what I had ordered.  Complained to "Flower Concierge" (the customer service rep people for "Florist Today".  Would not agree to reimbursement some of the cost.  They said the "recipe" of the flowers was followed.  However, the "design" was not followed as I indicated to them.  The girl checked with her "supervisor" who said it looked fine.

 Never again will I order flowers online by one of these companies.  I will always call a local florist (although I thought I was dealing with one this time) and not look at pictures because they do not recreate what they have online.  I am lodging a complaint with my credit card company and any other agency that may cover this particular complaint.

Plus they say they're family owned and operated.  NOT...
