Complaint Review: WATERFORD LAKES DENTAL

Do not trust their billing department. I just contacted my insurance company Cigna, and they indicated that this office overbilled me over the contract amount. Cigna confirmed that the dentist was in network and obligated to offer me the contract rate pursuant to her agreement with Cigna. This dentist billed me over the contract rate on EVERY procedure. I need to calculate the full amount of the overbilling but it is easily in the hundreds of dollars. This dental office claimed I owed them $37.00 dollars when in fact they have been overbilling me. They actually had the audacity to refer me to collections when they are the ones that owe me money! It is blatant fraud and I am preparing for a lawsuit to get my money back and for slander of credit. Check all your bills against your EOB ("Explanation of Benefits") and confirm with your insurance company whether they are under contract! They will overbill you! Exercise caution!
