Waterline Construction installed a new boat lift at my house and took out a building permit. They referred me to an electric subcontractor for the electrical portion of the work. The electric sub did not take out a building permit. When Waterline called the City of Treasure Island for a permit, they were told that the work could not be inspected as there was no electric permit. They never told me this, never got my lift inspected, and four years later, it collapsed under the weight of my boat.
