WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING USING WATERMARK HOMES,INC. OR TODD PRATHER CUSTOM HOME BUILDING!!!

You may want to read about our families experience with Todd Prather before you get in to trouble dealing with this person.

My elderly Mother and Father rented a home in West Houston ,Texas from Todd Prather for a few years .I lived with them there also and I will testify that everything I say here is here in a court of law is 100% the truth.We all had to move out because of the terrible experiences ,crime ,and lousy neighbors with their constant barking dogs among several other problems. By the way you might find it interesting that Todd Prather suggested I throw a loaded poison hot dog in my neighbor's back yard to solve the barking problem!!!

Any ways by the end of July 2004 we cleaned up the house that my folks where renting from Todd Prather and moved outside of Houston to try to escape the Houston insanity we were experiencing. After returning the property back to Todd Prather in good order we then expected to get our deposit of several hundred dollars back .

I had many doubts about getting that money back since I had the unfortunate experience of seeing Mr. Prather's character in action from my Father's dealings with him through out those years we lived in the rented home. Well it all proved to be just as I had predicted. My Father sent out one signature confirmation letter which the Prathers signed for .In that letter my Father requested the return of the security deposit since more than 2 months had gone by already since he should have received his deposit back.

Well I had my doubts this would do any good and sure enough we got no reply just silence. My Father waited 31 days and sent the Prathers one more signature confirmation letter with a last warning that my Father wanted his security deposit back or he would have to take the Prathers to court to get the matter settled that way. He gave the Pathers one week to produce the money they owed him before he would take the legal actions against Prathers.

Well sure enough and true to form Todd Prather still refuse to even acknowledge any thing and all my father got was silence again. Now it has been a few weeks since Todd Prather got the final notice to pay my Father or be taken to court.

This is the way the Prathers operate they have no respect for anyone but themselves ,they are dishonest and extremely irresponsible and they are not ashamed of being thevies .

It is my guess that the Prathers are in deep financial trouble and seem to be failing .I know he seemed to have some kind of failure at trying to be in some kind of Christian Ministry. I think he hides behind a religious front so he can use people. I don't blame people for not wanting anything to do with Jesus or Christianity after meeting a person like Todd Prather .By the way this is where Todd Pather the goes to church :
