Wawadigital.com Bait & Switch, Can't just get what you order on-line New York New York
I ordered an Olympus digital camera on-line from wawadigital.com for $124. The order response page states that I HAVE to call to 'confirm the order'.
When I called, the sales person tried to sell me memory, batteries, case, extended warrantee, cleaning kit, etc. I declined all the extras (I already had them). The sales person said that my order would be 'processed'.
After not receiving anything on when my order would arrive, I sent an email. The reply (from eric andersen) just asked "did you call back and confimr the order on the phone and what else did you purchase with it thanks". I replied that I had called and didn't order anything else.
Five days after my order, I called again and was told that my order was "CANCELED". I was told that the camera was no longer available. The camera was still being sold on-line, and so I order it again.
I called again to confirm the order from the same phone, they would answer and hang-up the the phone (800# display your phone number). So I called from my cell phone and they answerd and I again declined all accessories, and the sales person said that my order would be 'processed'.
It has been 5 days, and again no status or camera.
AVOID this merchant, unless you want to buy lots of accessories.
