I rang to buy a digital camera which was at a competitive price. I gave my credit card details (both ouch!).However, during the conversation with the "salesman" I was told I had to pay $300 for a battery. On querying this he offered me two 5h batteries (?) I think it was $250. Then he talked about a 5 year warranty and then gave me a final price $320 more than the listed price ($620). After a lot of spiel i told him I'll think about and I'll leave it for now. He then told me the order had already been processed and if I cancelled he would charge me 25%. I asked how he had managed to process the order when I was still discussing it.

I then politely declined his additional offers. He then said he was going to charge me 25% so I better accept the order or else. I asked if I could speak to his manager in which case he told me he was the owner.I then suffered a tirade of abuse. It started off with him saying he had my credit card details and so he could do what he wanted. Then he threatened my credit rating. I then insisted he cancel the order and he responded with an unbelievable series of profanities (quite imaginitive, I'm not sure where ukrainian f**ker came from) and I eventually responded with a similar reposte of "FU" and put the phone down. In the background I could here a similar conversation going on. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT deal with this "merchant".
