Complaint Review: Wawadigital

Last November 2005 I purchase a sony dsc-w7 digital camera from wawadigital.com. Within 2 hours after I make my purchase online, I receive on email from wawadigital saying that I have to call the 800 number to confirm my order. When I call wawadigital to confirm my order the sales person try to sell me extra accessories for the camera which the camera already came with the accessory from the manufacture.

So I decline is offer and I ask him when are they going to ship the camera out to me, he told me the next day. A week go by and I have not receive the camera so call wawadigital to see what was the status on my order and the sales person hang the phone up on me. So I call back and the sales person was rude to me and told they no longer carry that camera and they cancel the order then he hang up the phone and me. That credit card I use to purchase the camera with in December 2005 I notice two high unauthorized charges on my card. I was looking a some reviews on wawadigital and someone mention credit card theft with wawadigital. So consumers beware of wawadigital. This company is a scammer/ fraud/ ripoff.
