Way Below Wholesale ripoff fraudulent ripoff business Murfreesboro Tennessee *UPDATE
I'm writing this report to prevent Way Below Wholesale from ripping off more innocent hard working individuals.
My father-in-law purchased 7,119.00 of merchandise from Way Below Wholesale on November 17, 2002. He planned to open his new store on November 29, 2002. Way Below Wholesale told my father-in-law that if he wire transferred the payment to them; they would in turn make sure that he received the merchandise by Thanksgiving.
The money was wire transferred on November 18, 2002. One week later; we tried to call them re: the order. We wanted to get tracking numbers for merchandise. We got an answering machine all day. The next day someone answered the phone, but told us that everyone was gone for the holidays and she could not help us with the order. She then gave us home numbers for the owner and manager; which got us nowhere fast.
We called again on november 29, and got a message telling us that the phone had been disconnected. We then found another phone number for them but it only produced an answering machine each time we called. On December 4, 2002 we called and finally got a gentleman named Clayton who said he was the manager of the company. When we asked for the tracking numbers and where the rest of the merchandise was (we received one of the many products ordered from them) the did not have an answer but told us that they would call us back within the hour with info on our order. We called him back about an hour later and was told that he was unavailable. Clayton called us back about an hour after that and gave us a number for the watches we ordered.
the next morning we checked the tracking number and found out that he just shipped the watches on December 4. Since then we are unable to reach anyone from the company and still have not received our merchandise or any information about our merchandise. STAY AWAY FROM THAT COMPANY. They are ripoff artists.

I thought I would update this to let everyone know that My father in law finally reached someone at way below wholesale on 12-13-02 and the lady told him that she was in retail, but would make sure that someone called him back. They never did, and he could not get anyone to answer the phone again. We still have not received the money or the merchandise. The funny thing about this phone call yesterday is that he did not call from his business or home and someone picked up, but after they found out that he was calling from that number; they never answered the phone again. Coincidence????? I will let you all decide.
