Bryan is completely incapable of managing a business. He kept giving me timelines on work that he would never ever meet, resulting in my car being held at the shop for several weeks and a hefty payment on my end for car rental, even though he promised that the work could be done within less than a week. He later refused to continue follow-up work on my car, that he had promised as part of the engine rebuild package.

He requested a hefty deposit before starting any work, and later had me give him money to order parts prior to working on the car. Essentially, I had paid for everything out of pocket before anything had been replaced or fixed on my car, and little of the work had been started.

I had to keep checking with him on the status of the repairs, and after several weeks, it was supposedly finally done. When the engine rebuild work was done and I was supposed to pick up my car, there were still issues on the day itself that he was "discovering". I finally managed to drive my car home late that night, after waiting for a day by the shop for him to fix these issues.

Fast forward a few months later, and my car has been getting worse mileage than it ever did before he worked on it. I tried setting up a follow up with him for weeks and each time he would blow me off and give me a date he would keep postponing, giving excuses and tentative dates. After constantly trying to check with him to set something up, he finally told me to take my car elsewhere instead of doing the follow up work as he had promised. His shop at Venice beach has now folded after being open for less than half a year, and he is going to set something up on Agoura Hills. He initially said that he could do the work at his house but that isn't going to happen anymore. So he doesn't really have a shop or location anymore, and I have no means of getting my car fixed.

In summary, Bryan advertised his LLC as an established automotive repair shop that dealt with various kinds of automotive work, had resources to parts, and a strong work ethic where he would "work all day and night till it was done". Unfortunately for me, none of this is true. In my situation, I had to pay for all the parts right at the start, which he had to order from online and thus await shipping from other parts of the country. He took almost a month to do an engine rebuild, so he certainly wasn't working on my car fully as he had promised. He kept dodging my attempts to schedule a follow up on the rebuild, and after weeks of trying to do so, he told me to take my car elsewhere, hence falling through on his promise to do a 1k mile follow up involving an oil change, compression test, and overall health of rebuild check.
