Wayne Edward Evans of the eastern Washington area is a dope head that made a mess of his own life so decided to screw up mine. I have never met this jerk, But I have learned That Mr Evans is a wanted felon.

My story begins in 1996 when i went to renew my drivers lic, I was told that my Lic was suspended for DUI, and many driveing on suspended violations, I was also told that a felony warrant for my arrest was outstanding for drug charges. (I was breath taken)

I went Immed to my local police dept to find out what this was all about, To my surprise i was arrested and detained while my fingerprints were taken
The police then asked me if i had ever owned certain cars or lived in diffrent parts of washington? Of course i hadnt Nor had I owned the cars that i was being accused of driving whikle some of these citations were issued. The officer gave me the courts phone numbers and i contacted them, The court clerk sent me copies of all the tickets that were in my name.

Upon my review of one of the tickets " where the person promised to appear" Mr Evans signed his real name, YES I said his real name WAYNE EDWARD EVANS, YES my name was on the top of the ticket and that DOPE HEAD was to high to realize that he just gave him self away.

Now after reviewing all the tickets they all had one thing in common The driver was always Cited for not having his Lic with him. I asked Washington state patrol HOW they could just write a ticket and not know who they were writing it too. THE ANSWER i got is if the driver ID himself as me and he knew MY DL number and social security number the officer would assume it was him/me (remember this was 1996)

I went to my local police and tried to file a report, they said that stolen ID was NOT against the law if the guy didint try and use my credit cardsor take my money ( the law has now been changed in 1999)

About a year later I was pulled over As Im a commercial Truck driver, I was again arrested and held for approx 1 hour as my fingerprints were again checked. I asked why does this keep happening to me and the officer told me that because Mr Evans had used my name in so many diffrent counties and in oregon and Idaho, my name was attached to him forever.

I then started carrying a letter from the police saying i was the victim of ID theft, All was fine up until 2002, when I again got stopped, THIS was a friday evening (after 5) the officer thought i could have wrote the letter i was carrying myself and once again took me in. I was told i would have to sit in jail ALL weekend because the sheriffs office employees who look at fingerprints "dont work on weekends"

Needless to say I had enough and this time i fought back, writing my senator and congressman. I asked how was i ever going to live my life in peace, I had done nothing wrong? I was told to Change my name, I hate to say this BUT THATS WHAT I DID.

Its truly a shame that we have people in our world that have to ruin someone elses life because they have destryoed there own by thier own actions. MR EVANS, I hope you sleep at night and by the way the Felony warrant that you used my name for Its under yours now, and I hope they catch you soon, Prison is where you need to be.

People watch out for WAYNE EDAWRD EVANS HES A NO GOOD DOPE HEAD, AND IF YOU KNOW WHERE EVANS IS PLEASE CALL THE KENNEWICK, WASHINGTON SHERIFFS OFFICE (BENTON COUNTY)

I'm sorry to hear that you had to go threw this too. Your right when you say it's hard to regain contol of your life. Your also right to say that somewhere in my lifetime I have more than likely met this fella. I guess I just cannot believe that people can do this to other people with no regard for them.

All that makes me feel better is knowing that carma (and the warrants) will come to this person, as will your x's girlfriend what goes around comes around.

I hope that by changeing your name too you were able to get a fresh start?

It's very hard to regain control of your life after something like this happens to you

I read your reports and found your story quite familiar. Many of the laws concerning ID theft weren't in place when I too was stolen. It's very hard to regain control of your life after something like this happens to you. I recently read of a man whose SSN was lifted off his medical records at the hospital where he was being treated for cancer. I guess the guy who lifted him thought he wasn't going to need it anymore because he assumed he was terminal.

In my case, it was my former husband's then-girlfriend who stole my birth certificate and rifled through other belongings where she retrieved my SSN from a tax return. She was sleeping with my husband, got pregnant, and bought all of her baby stuff with a credit card she opened in my name. That was just the beginning. Isn't she lovely?

This happened in the early 90's. It was so hard to clear the mess that after consulting an attorney, looking at credit reports, and realizing that 2/3 of my debt was from her, I decided to kill 2 birds with one stone. I filed for Chapter 7 and then changed my name shortly thereafter. It must have been a cold surprise to find that they won't take that Mastercard anymore. Of course, if the credit card companies didn't so readily dole them outconsumers would have fewer of these problems.

You have, at some time, encountered this person.

In regards to the guy you're hunting foryou need to post BOTH names he's working under. If Wayne is his real name but he's been using your identity, there's a strong likelihood that he's using that name in his everyday life. The encounters that you describe merely relate to his run-ins with the law but what about the IRS? Is this guy working under your social too? If he is, he shouldn't be hard to find.
