Puchased a puppy from this man for a hefty fee. Immediately took it to the vet after receiving it. Had the largest case of worms the vet had ever seen, and also a severe case of coccidiosis and parvovirus. Between the parvovirus and coccidiosis, the puppy was unable to fight, and it passed away within the first week of being with us. Contract states no refund for these things being wrong with the puppy. Also has a room with sick puppies, and there are tape worms on the ground of every kennel he has the puppies in. Has well over any max amount of animals Ive ever seen allowed. Disgusting.

I have had unfortunate experiences with Wayne Kiser and would urge people not to purchase dogs from him.

We purchased Otto in 2009. He was from a very large litter. By the time we picked him up, at 6 1/2 weeks, only 4 puppies survived. Our vet was not happy with his condition. He had fleas and worms and had been separated from mom from some time, because she had killed the rest of the litter. I believe that was why Wayne was anxious to let the puppy go so young.

We loved this dog with everything we had. Unfortunately, we could not love away his temperament issues. He was an anxious and aggressive dog. We spent thousands of dollars on a private trainer. We finally had to put Otto down, at 5 years old. I learned that most of his line died very young as well. When i spoke with Wayne about this, when Otto was around age 2 he was unconcerned and told me, "dogs die".

Please save yourself the terrible heart break we still live with and spend more money at a better breeder.

This has got to be a false report, someone with sour grapes to sow against Wayne. To start with, the "hefty fee" they are whining about is a very reasonable price for Great Danes. Cute ranch in the country, not fancy but very clean and organiized. I spent over 2 hours touring the ranch, socializing with the beautiful, happy adult dogs and playing with puppies before I picked out the perfect pup for me. Great care was taken to insure the safety of the pups, before entering a puppy home I had to dip the bottom of my shoes in disinfectant and clean my hands. It's a ranch situation, yet all puppies are handled and socialized and it was obvious. During our 2 hour tour Wayne took the time to answer all my questions and answered questions I didn't know to ask. His love and admiration for his dogs was very endearing. He has too many adults to keep them all in his house, but they all rotate turns getting to be house dogs, why?

Because Wayne knows what Great Danes need to be happy dogs and he genuinely loves his dogs. I took my pup home at 10 weeks old. His shot and worming regime was well under way with 3 vet exams under his belt. All the pups and dogs were in top health. All were happy and friendly. I won't go on about the great dog I now have, there's not enough space here and once I get started... Bottom line, Dreamcatcher Ranch is a wonderful place and with Wayne as it's owner and caretaker it is a great home and start for many a lucky Great Dane. I am only 1 of many greatfull Dane owners who were lucky enough to come across Wayne in our search. I'm sorry someone felt the need to slander you so, I am here to say I don't believe a word of it due to my personal experience.

I have personally known wayne for over 12 years. I have aquired 2 dogs through him. I know him to be a person of integrity. He has a deep abiding love for his dogs. All of them. The report that he is a puppy mill is false. I have personally watched him care for his dogs and it is very impressive. They are fed high quality protein (meat) that I wish I could afford to feed my dogs. His dogs are well cared for and I can assure you he is very fair in his contract terms. The negative review is patently false. I am not being paid to say this. Just defending a man whose reputation is spotless. You would do well to get a great dane from wayne.

I am so sorry about your loss dream catcher offers a contract you signed and agreed dream catcher is honest however once again sorry about your loss that must really hurt Mr. Wayne does have a vet that works on all his animals my vet had no problems with the paperwork provided. my puppy had worms only because she was eating the cat poo three bucks fixed that problem and moving the litter box.

I purchased a puppy in feb. 2014. I was extremely impressed with the work Wayne puts into his dogs. I have been involved with dogs for many years and his kennel was set up much like the other breeder I have dealt with. Wayne was professional and informative. My puppy is and was in good health. I believe it is easy to blame parvo and worms on a breeder however these are all the risks of owning a dog. I olan on purchasing another puppy in the future and look forward to using Dreamcatcher's for my next purchase. As far as pricing he was reasonable in pricing and even offered a discount on my next puppy.

I was looking for a companion for my female Great Dane, after a sudden loss of our beloved Harry. Jasmine was very despondent, as was I. I looked at several rescue sites, but none were just right, or would take more time than I wanted.

I looked online, and saw this breeder, Wayne Kiser of Dreamcatcher Danes. I saw a couple of negative comments on a site that supposedly "exposes" rip-offs, and saw that the comments are anonymous.

So I drove down to the kennel to check it out. Boy am I glad I did!!!! It's no "puppy mill", the runs are large, as are the dogs! LOL Well cared for, clean and very active. Yes, it's out in the country, so it's not a fancy place. However, Wayne was so helpful, and informative. Nothing was off limits, and I was able to ask, and have answered any question, on that day, and in emails since.

I bought a wonderful little (for now) brindle female, named TigerLily. The cost was not unreasonable, as others have stated. My vet thinks she is in wonderful shape. I know that this may sound a little "too glowing", but be assured, I toned it down! My experience and dog were, and are wonderful. I heartily recommend Dreamcatcher Danes, and Wayne Kiser.

I have bought four danes from Wayne and visited his property on a few occasions. Yes, he has a lot of dogs and yes they are in kennels outside, however; this is standard for many breeders who have this large of an operation and these types of dogs. In fact, I have visited three other kennels and found his to be one of the best operations! His dogs are healthy. All four of my dogs were in great health, passed vet exams, had their shots, and the vet stated they were excellent specimens. Additionally, Wayne takes precautions to avoid contamination. All visitors must use bleach water on their shoes to enter a kennel and in between kennels to PREVENT any disease risks! He gives very detailed instructions about what to do and what not to do. Additionally, if you have questions he will take the time to answer them. Wayne really cares about his dogs and they are all well behaved and you can tell have had attention.

After buying four dogs from him I would do it again! Great guy!

I have had a wonderful experience with Wayne Kiser. Since I had never purchased an animal online before, I was very apprehensive. Wayne spent over 8 hours on the phone with me, wrote multiple emails, and sent many pictures of my perspective pup. In that time, it was apparent that he really cares about his dogs. He also had many questions for me to ensure the well being of the animal he was selling.

When my dog arrived, he called to make sure he made it safely. In the last 14 months, my pup has grown into the most wonderful dog I have ever owned. (He's also the largest!) He is healthy, obedient and is getting ready to be a therapy dog at the hospital where I work. I have referred many people who want a beautiful, well bred Great Dane to Wayne, and I hope he is still in business when we need another one. Thank you, Wayne, for all you do. It is obvious that your dog breeding is truly a labor of love.

Wayne Kiser/Dreamcatcher Danes: REPUTABLE!

We have been on premises of Wayne Kiser many times.  The puppy we purchased from him was in excellent health.

All dogs have always been very well taken care of - shelters with large runs, medical care (vet in frequent attendance), & superior diets.  Wayne is dedicated to proper care.  Not only were the dogs & puppies well cared for, doing business with Wayne was beyond expectations.  Animals that are no longer of breeding service are found homes rather than being destroyed.

Parvo does not exist on Wayne's property or he'd be losing pups.  It is sickening to see this good name trashed.  "Anonymous" doesn't have a clue.

Misinformation about Dreamcatcher Great Danes

#11REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, June 04, 2013

Recently there were two bad reviews about Dreamcatcher Great Danes, both of which are FALSE. The first one was in Feb 2013 and the second one in March 2013. Number one, Dreamcatcher Great Danes is not a Puppy Mill, there is not over 50 adult Great Danes but 35 adult Great Danes on the 10 acre Dreamcatcher Ranch. The runs are 40' x 100' with large dog houses. The adults are fed between 3 to 5 lbs raw meat and 4 cups of Diamond Brand Adult Lamb and Rice with broth and fresh raw Jersey milk. My Vet comes out to Dreamcatcher Ranch to do the puppy exams here and also checks out all of the adult Great Danes. All of my Great Danes are UTD on all of their shots. The females are on a schedual of breeding twice then a rest period. The adult dog runs are cleaned daily.

The whelping rooms are 8' x 12' each with a run for moms and puppies. They are all insulated, lighted and are cleaned daily. The puppies are wormed starting at 2 weeks of age and then every two weeks thereafter. Fecal testing is also done on a regular basis. Shots are started at 4 weeks of age, then at 3 week intervals. All of the puppies are loved and socialized with on a daily basis. Again my Vet comes out to Dreamcatcher Ranch to do the puppy exams here, a copy of his report, the shot/worming schedual, AKC puppy registration and all of my Great Dane puppies are microchipped with an AKC microchip are given to all Puppy buyers. Dreamcatcher Great Danes also gives out the name and phone number of his Vet, I do not know of ANY other Great Dane breeder that will do that.

The sad thing is that it is very easy for another breeder etc who has NEVER been to Dreamcatcher Ranch to write a bad review. Dreamcatcher Great Danes does advertise on Puppy Find and their are tons of reviews, all good. The reason is that for one to write a review on Puppy Find one has to be a Buyer, and purchased a puppy from the kennel.
