Complaint Review: Wayne Wallace

 Wayne Wallace came to my house on Wednesday, 11/27/13 and gave an estimate for gutter installation, saying half was due at contract signing.  He said he'd call the next day with estimates of other jobs I was looking for him to do. 

He cashed my deposit later that afternoon, and never called me back.  I started calling the company the next week, and repeated was directed to voicemail.  I left several.

The following week, someone at Carolina Roofing answered the phone, and said they would call me back later that day.  I explained how I was worried about getting scammed, and they reassured me I wasn't.

A week later, I still hadn't heard from anyone, though I tried numerous times to contact them.  Through text messages from 843-742-2488, they said they would HOPEFULLY get my job done.  I said I didn't believe them, and I wanted a refund.  They said FINE, they do jobs for thousands, and my job was small.  I even said if they could get it done (three weeks later) that day, great, if not, I wanted a refund.

Wayne Wallace said, "You want a refund, we can refund you no problem"

Then another week went by.  He said he would drop it off.  He two days later said he mailed it.  A week later, after still not receiving it, he said he would personally drop it off "no ifs and or buts" apologizing the whole time. 

I continued to try to call and leave messages for the money he stole from me.  Though, ironically he told me to call him if I didn't receive my refund. 

He through text, even stated how I can bully him around like I do my husband!  This guy has a long list of felonies including assult, so I didn't want to put my children and family in jepoardy. 

Please help me stop this Criminal Scam Artist!
